CALL TO ORDER A duly noticed regular meeting of the Burlingame City Council was held on the above date in the City Hall Council Chambers. Mayor Mike Coffey called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 2. PLEDGE OFALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG Led by Rose Jacob Gibson. 3. ROLL CALL MEMBERS PRESENT: MEMBERS ABSENT: Baylock, Coffey, Galligan, Janney, O'Mahony None 4. MINUTES v Council Member Baylock made a correction to the October 20,2003 Council minutes under "Public Comments". "Kay O'Brien" should read "Katie O'Brien". Council Member Janney made a motion to approve the minutes of the October 20,2004 Council meeting; seconded by Council Member Baylock, approved unanimously by voice vote, 5-0. Vice Mayor O'Mahony made a motion to approve the minutes of the special meeting held on October 31, 2003; seconded by Council Member Janney, approved unanimously by voice vote, 5-0. 5. PUBLIC COMMENTS There were no comments from the floor regarding the consent calendar 6. CONSENT CALENDAR a.DECLARING RESULTS OF NOVEMBER 4. 2OO3 ELECTION CC Musso recommended Council adopt Resolution #108-2003 declaring the results of the November 4,2003 election. b. RESOLUTION AC G CALIFORNIA GROVE STORM D PUMP STATION BY TRINET CONSTRUCTION COMPANY _ CP 80510 Burlingame City CoLrncil Approved Minutes 59 November 17,2003 DPW Bagdon recommended Council adopt Resolution #107-2003 accepting the California Grove Storm Drain Pump Station by Trinet Construction Company. c.SET APPEAL HEARING FOR 1029 BALBOA FOR JANUARY 20. 2OO4 CP Monroe recommended Council schedule a hearing on January 20,2004 for the appeal of the Planning Commission's decision regarding the project at 1029 Balboa. FD Nava requested approval for payments of Warrants #91751-92344, duly audited, in the amount of $2,682,236.90 (excluding library checks 91862-91889), payroll checks 156054-156373 inthe amount of $2,106,5 19.14, and various electronic funds transfers. Council Member Janney made a motion to approve the Consent Calendar; seconded by Council Member Baylock, approved unanimously by voice vote, 5-0. At this time, Mayor Coffey introduced the visiting dignitaries and thanked them for attending. He also gave a"Year in Review" noting some of the accomplishments of each of the City's departments. Mayor Coffey invited members of the audience to come forward to make presentations to outgoing Council Member Janney. 7. CEREMONIAL ^. SEATING OF COUNCIL MEMBERS Terry Nagel was swom in by former Chief of Police Gary Missel for her first term as City Council Member and was asked to join the rest of the Council at the dias. Mayor Coffey was sworn in by Supervisor Mark Church for his second term as City Council Member. 8. ADJOURNMENT Mayor Coffey adjourned the special meeting at 8:26 p.m submitted, Wt)*4D Ann T. Mayor Mike Coffey called the meeting to order at 8:26 p.m. MEMBERS PRESENT: MEMBERS ABSENT: Baylock, Coffey, Galligan, Nagel, O'Mahony None 3. CEREMONIAL a. ROTATION OF COUNCIL OFFICERS Mayor Coffey tumed the meeting over to incoming Mayor Rosalie O'Mahony, who presented him with a plaque and spoke regarding the upcoming year. She also introduced the new Vice Mayor, Joe Galligan. 4.
