Call to Order
A duly noticed Special Joint Study Meeting of the Burlingame, Hillsborough and Millbrae City Councils
was held on the above date in the Hillsborough Town Hall. The meeting was called to order by the
Hillsborough Mayor at 6:00 p.m.
Burlingame City Council Present: Galligan, Janney, Knight, Spinelli
Burlingame City Council Absent: O'Mahony
Hillsborough City Council Present: Adams, Auer, Boyar, Kelly, Mullooly
Hillsborough City Council Absent: None
Millbrae City Council Present: Church, Hershman, Morse, Quigg
Millbrae City Council Absent: Richardson
Hillsborough Mayor Kitty Mullooly welcomed the council members and staff of the three cities
Presentation of Proposed Proj ect
Burlingame Public Works Director George Bagdon, Hillsborough City Engineer Terry Leong and
Millbrae Senior Engineer Kevin O'Connell gave apresentation on the scope, benefits and participation
in a proposed Tri-Cities Water Pipeline Project. This project would include additional water storage,
piping and pumps as well as a new water connection to the San Francisco Water Department's Harry
Tracy Treatment Plant.
Each city council was asked to act individually by September to consider participation in up to $75,000
of additional shared study of the feasibility of this project.
