presented a request for the widening of Iloward Avenue' 10 feet,
irom E1 Camlno -Real to the S.P. Company tracks; the work to be
done under a P.W.A. grant or state gas funds, Eith as littlo
expense as possible to property owners. They' as well as
remalning property owners, have deeded to the Clty the spaas
to be wldened- and improved. Mayor lIlves presented the sid.e of
the P.!T.A. and Gas Tax sa1es, stati-ng there nas r1o certalnty
that funds from titese sourcei wculd be availsble. I{e favored
the wldening of the street lut belleved an assessment district

for automobile parking was preseinted. by the Southern Pacifie
Company; the L,{ayor and the Clty Clerk being asked to subscribe
to same. A notibn to that effeot was duly made, seconded. ancl

A Resolution pertalnlng to the eradrlcation of weecls in the Clty
of Burllngane was approvea on motion by CounciLnan Suck and was
seconded by Councilman llunt.

Clty Council that when any new sewers are attached to our systein
that a m.ap be filed rryith the Qity Engineer for checking and
that an lnspector be plgced. on the Job as a safe guard. to the
