ORDINANCE LICENSING BINGO
The CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame, California, does
ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1.
Chapter 6,43
is
hereby added to Title 6 of the
Burlingame Municipal
Code to read
as
follows:
"6.43 BINGO
6.43.010 Pur ose.
It is the intention of the City Council to authorize the
licensing of bingo games in the City of Burlingame pursuant to Section
19 of Article IV of the Constitution of the State of California and
Section 326.5 of the California Penal Code.
6.43.020 License required.
The City license collector shall issue a license to conduct
bingo games within the City of Burlingame to those organizations which
meet the criteria established in California Penal Code Section 326.5,
on the payment of a yearly license fee of ten dollars ($10.00). Each
applicant shall present to the license clerk such evidence as may be
required to establish its eligibility for this license and to establish
that the conditions of Section 326.5 of the Penal Code are met. Appro-
priate investigation may be made by the Police Department. Each
applicant shall be given a copy of Section 326.5 of the Penal Code."
Section 2. This ordinance shall be published as required by law.

after at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 20th day of
