ORDINANCE INCREASING TREASURER'S BOND
AND ESTABLISHING BOND OF DEPUTY TREASURER
The CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame, California, does ORDAIN
as follows:
Section 1. Section 3.12.020 of the Burlingame Municipal Code
concerning City Treasurer's Bond is amended to read as follows:
"3.12.020. Bond
Before entering upon his duties, the city treasurer must execute
a bond to the city, with sufficient sureties in accordance with
requirements provided by law. The penal sum of such bond shall be
two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000.00), and shall cover the
faithful performance by the city treasurer of the duties of his office
and of his duties with respect to all moneys coming into his hands
as such city treasurer, or the ordinances of the city, or under any
law of the State of California. The bond shall be approved by the
city council and filed with the city clerk. A bond in the sum of
one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) shall be similarly executed,
approved and filed for any deputy treasurer who may be appointed."
Section 2. This ordinance shall be published as required by law.

certify that the foregoing Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council held on the -, day of May, 1976, and adopted thereafter at
