OPDINANCE NO. 1059
AN ORDINANCE ADJUSTING THE COMPE SATION
OF THE CLERK AND TREASURER
The CITY COUNCIL of the City of Eurlingame does ORDAIN as
Section 1. Section 3.08.050 of the Burlingame Municipal Code
is amended to read and provide:
"3.08.050. Compensation. The city clerk shall receive
as compensation for the performance of such duties as are pre-
scribed in the Government Code of the State the same salary as
established for council members by Section 2.04.030. He shall
be relieved of financial and accounting duties including all
such duties imposed upon the city clerk by Chapter 4, part 2,
Division 3, Title 4 and by Sections 40802 to 40805 of the
Government Code of the State. Financial and accounting duties
shall be performed by the director of finance along with such
other duties as are prescribed."
Section 2. Section 3.12.030 0` the Eurlingame Municipal Code
is amended to read and provide:

"3.12.030 Compensation. The city treasurer shall receive
as compensation for the performance of his duties as prescribed in
the State Government Code the same salary as established for council
members by Section
2.04.030.
The
director
of
finance shall assume
all nonstatutory
duties
heretofore
performed
by
the treasurer."
Section 3. This ordinance shall be published as required by

hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance was introduced at a regular
meeting of the City Council held on the _L5_- day of December, 1975, and
adopted thereafter at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
5th day of January, 1976.
