ORDINANCE NO. 1127
ORDINANCE CONCERNING FEES FOR
SIDEWALKS, CURBS, DRIVEWAYS,
EXCAVATIONS AND ENCROACHMENT PERMITS
The CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame does ORDAIN
as follows:
Section 1. Section 12.04.030 of the Burlingame
Municipal Code relating to sidewalks, curbs and driveways is
amended to read as follows:
"12,04.030 Fees.
Fees for sidewalk, driveway and curb installation
and abandonment shall be those provided from time to
time by resolution of the City Council, The City Council
shall also establish by resolution such other fees, charges
and procedures as may be necessary for maintenance and
installation of sidewalks, driveways and curbs."
Section 2. Section 12.08.080 of said code concerning
excavations is amended to read as follows:
"12.08.020 Application and fee.
Any person, firm or corporation desiring such
permission shall make a
written application to
the city
engineer setting forth
the purpose and extent
of
such
work to be performed or
caused to be performed
by
such
person. Accompanying
such application shall
be
such
fee or deposit as shall
be provided from time
to
time
by resolution of the City
Council as security
for
per-
formance of the work."

t Dermits is amended to read as follows:

12.10.030 Permit - Application.
Any person, firm or corporation desiring such a
permit shall make a written application to the city
engineer setting forth the purpose and extent of the work
to be performed or caused to be performed by such person.
Accompanying such application shall be deposited with the
city engineer such fee as shall be provided from time to
time by resolution of the City Council."

',hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance was introduced at a
regular meeting of the City Council held on the day of May,
1978, and was adopted thereafter at a regular meeting of the City
Council held on the day of 1978, by the following
