ESTABLISHING A THIRTY-FIVE MILE PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT
ON PENINSULA AVENUE BETWEEN CALIFORNIA DRIVE AND
HUMBOLT ROAD, AND A THIRTY MILE PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT
ON PENINSULA AVENUE BETWEEN EL CAMINO REAL AND
CALIFORNIA DRIVE
The CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF BURLINGAME does ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1. Section 13.24.010 of the Burlingame Municipal Code is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"13.24.010 Thirty-five miles per hour.
No person shall drive a vehicle upon any of the following
designated streets at a speed greater than thirty-five miles per
hour; it being determined that the speed limitation hereby estab-
lished is most appropriate to facilitate the orderly movement of
traffic and is reasonable and safe:

California Drive between Burlingame
Avenue and
Murchison Drive;
2.
Rollins Road;
3.
Bayshore Highway;
4.
Trousdale Drive between El Camino Real
and Sebastian
Drive;
5.
Carolan Avenue between Broadway and
Oak
Grove Avenue;
6.
Skyline Boulevard from six hundred
feet
north of
Rivera Drive south to the city limits;
7.
Peninsula Avenue between California
Drive
and Humboldt
Road.
The director of public works is authorized and directed to
procure appropriate signs giving notice of the provisions of this
section and to erect several such signs on the above designated
streets, and this section shall be effective when such signs are
erected."
Section 2. Section 13.24.015 of the Burlingame Municipal Code
!'is hereby amended to read as follows:
"13.24.015 Thirty miles per hour.
No person shall drive a vehicle upon any of the following
designated streets at a speed greater than thirty miles per hour:

1. Occidental Avenue between Barroilhet Avenue and
El Camino Real;
2. Bayswater Avenue between Humboldt Road and California
Drive;
3. Peninsula Avenue between E1 Camino Real and California
Drive.
The director of public works is hereby authorized and directed
to procure appropriate signs giving notice of said prima facie
speed limits, and to erect the same upon the above designated streets."
Section 3. This ordinance shall be published as required by law.
