ORDINANCE ALLOGTING PROFIT-MAKING
SCHOOLS AS A CONDITIONALUSEIN
RESIDENTIAL ZONE'S
The CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame does ORDAIN
as follows:
Section 1. Section 25.28.030(2? of the Burlingame
Municipal Code, specifying types of schools allowed as conditional
uses in R-1 Zones, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"2. Schools, public and private, including
religious or parochial schools."
Section 2. Section 25.34.030 regarding conditional uses
in R-4 districts is hereby amended to read as follows:
4°25.34.030 Conditional uses requiring a special permit.
The following are conditional uses requiring a special
permit:
1. All uses permitted with a permit in the R-1, R-2,
and R-3 districts and subject to the same restrictions
and limitations;
2. Bungalow courts, court apartments, and similar
uses;
3. Hospitals, sanitariums, nursing or convalescent
homes, and similar uses, but excluding animal hospitals;
4. Clubs, associations and similar uses.
5. Apartment hotels;
6. Any structure that is more than thirty-five
feet in height."
Section 3 This ordinance shall be published as
required by law.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance was introduced at
a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 117i.h day of
Laecvruor ., 1979, and was adopted thereafter at a regular
meeting of the City Council held on the 7th day of January
1.980, by the following vote::
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Amstrup, Barton, Crosby, Mangini, Martin.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT': COUNCILMEN: Nana
