AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PARKING LIMITATIONS IN
THE BURLINGAME AVENUE CENTRAL TRAFFIC DISTRICT
The CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame does ORllAIN
as follows:
Section 1. Section 13.36.030 of the Burlingame
Municipal Code, establishing one-hour parking, is hereby amended
to read as follows:
(5) Chapin Avenue, north side, from Primrose Road
to 760 feet west of Primrose Road.
(6) Chapin Avenue, south side, from Primrose Road
to 470 feet west of Primrose Road.
(10) Lorton Avenue, from Bellevue Avenue to Howard
Avenue.
(11) Park Road, from Burlingame Avenue to Howard
Avenue.
(12
) Primrose Road, from Floribunda Avenue to
Howard Avenue.
(13) South Lane, California Drive to Southern
Pacific right-of-way."
Section 2. Section 13.36.043, establishing ten-hour
parking, is added to said Code to read as follows:
"13.36.043
Ten-hour
parking.
It
is
unlawful
£or the driver of any vehicle to park
such vehicle, unless elsewhere in this title otherwise
provided, for a longer period than ten hours on any day,

excepting Sundays and holidays, upon any part of the
following streets or portions of streets:
(i) Bellevue Avenue, south side, from Primrose
Road to Almer Road.
(2) Primrose Road, east side, from Howard Avenue
to Bayswater Avenue.
(3) Park Road, west side, from Howard Avenue to
Bayswater Avenue.
(4) Lorton Avenue, east side, between Howard Avenue
and Bayswater Avenue.
(5) Howard Avenue, from E1 Camino Real to Primrose
Road; north side, from Hatch. Lane to Highland Avenue.
(6) Chapin Avenue, north side, from El Camino
Real to 760 feet west of Primrose Road; south side,
from El Camino Real to 470 feet west of Primrose Road."
Section 3. Section 13.36.040(a) of said Code, estab
ing two-hour parking-, is hereby amended to read as follows:
(2) Bellevue Avenue, except the south side. from
Primrose Road
to Almer Road.
(3) Burlingame Avenue, from TMlyrtle to Carolan Avenue;
south side from Occidental to E1 Camino Peal.
(4) California Drive, west side, from Broadway to
three hundred feet south of Sanchez Avenue; from Howard
Avenue to Peninsula Avenue: east side from North
Lane to
Burlingame P_venue (Southern Pacific parking lot).
(13) Howard Avenue, south side, from Crescent
Avenue to El Camino Real, and from Primrose Road to
California Drive; north side from Primrose Road
Hatch Lane.

(16) Lorton Avenue, west side, from Bayswater Avenue
to Howard Avenue.
(20) Park Road, except the west side, from Howard
Avenue to Bayswater Avenue.
(21) Primrose Road, west side, from Howard Avenue
to E1 Camino Real.
Section 4. Section 13.40.010(x), establishing parking
meter zones, is hereby amended to read as follows:
(11) Lorton Avenue, Bellevue Avenue to Howard
Avenue, east side, from Howard Avenue to Bayswater Avenue
(12) Park Road, from Burlingame Avenue to Howard
Avenue; west side, from Howard Avenue to Bayswater Avenue
(13) Primrose Road, from Bellevue Avenue to Howard
Avenue; east side from Howard Avenue to Bayswater Avenue.
(1 6) Bellevue Avenue, south side, from Primrose
Road to Almer Road.
(17) Chapin Avenue, from Primrose Road to E1 Camino
Real."
Section 5. This ordinance shall be published as
required by law.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance was introduced at
a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 2nd day of
March 1981, and was adopted thereafter at a regular meeting
of the City Council held on the lfith day of March 19815 by
the following vote:
