The CITY CQUNCIL of the City of Burlingame, California,
does ORDAIN as follows:
Section l_. A11 reserve police officers of the City of
Burlingame who have received a Level 1 Reserve Officer's Certifi-
cate before January 1, 1981, shall have the full powers and
duties of a peace officer as provided by Section 830.1 of the
Penal Code.
Section 2. The purpose of this ordinance is to comply
with Chapter 1301 anal Section 15.5 of Chapter 1340, Statutes of
1980, and is intended to designate such officers as a class ra
than as individuals.
Secfion 3. This ordinance shall be published as
required by law.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance caas introduced at
a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 15th day of
December, 1980, and was adopted thereafter at a regular meeting
of the City Council held on the Sth day of January, 1981, by the
