Permit granted to San Mateo Mosquito Abatement District for additional
structure to their present building on Rollins Road.
Permit granted to J. E. Schoales for apartment building to be located
on E1 Camino Real and Mills Avenue.
Commission studied petition of Hazel B.' Thompson re - matter of rezoning
property at 1401 Bellevue Avenue, Burlingame. The Secretary was instructed
to inform the petitioner that she could appear at any regular meeting
of the Commission while hearings on the proposed new zoning ordinances
were being conducted and present her case at that time.
Commission studied objections made by interested parties to certain section.
of new zoning ordinance as contained in pages 1 to 16 inclusive.
Representatives of Noble Co., and Mr. Andrew L. Waechter were present and
submitted plans of the proposed concrete mix plant. The plans were
incomplete insofar as foundations and fo+btings were concerned. In answer
to a question asked by the Chairman relative to the matter, the petitioner
stated that to complete those parts of the plans it would be necessary to
make borings to determine just what foundations would be necessary and
felt that Sze could not go to any additional a xpense for such determinations
until he was certain he would .receive a "use permit." After consideration
with City Attorney Karmel and Planning Consultant Mann it was decided that
the petitioner make his application for use to the City Council for
determination as to further action to be taken.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:15 p.m.
