A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH GROUP 4 ARCHITECTURE TO PROVIDE AUDIO-VISUAL TECHNOLOGY
AND DESIGN IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE MAIN LIBRARY LANE COMMUNITY ROOM FOR AN
AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $47,700
WHEREAS, the Main Library Community Room has needed an AV technology Upgrade
since 2019; and
WHEREAS, Group 4 Architecture firm has the knowledge and background to complete this
project by virtue of constructing the building in 1996; and
WHEREAS, Group 4 Architecture firm was also engaged to complete the 2015
Main Library Renovation; and
WHEREAS, Staff is pleased to work with Group 4 Architecture Firm again; and
WHEREAS, This project will not impact the General Fund and will be fully funded by the
Burlingame Library Foundation; and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME RESOLVES
AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City Manager is authorized to negotiate and execute a Professional Services Agreement
with Group 4, substantially in the form attached hereto, to complete audio-visual technology
and design improvements for the Main Library Lane Community Room, for an amount not-
to-exceed $47,700; and
2. The City Manager is authorized to negotiate minor amendments to the Professional Services
Agreement, except that the City Council must approve any amendments that increase the
not-to-exceed amount or the project scope.

Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 6th day of
October 2025, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Brownrigg, Colson, Pappajohn, Stevenson, Thayer
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
