Dear Mr. Huang:
At their meeting of January 17, 1990 the City Council held an appeal
hearing on your application for a parking dimension variance and
hillside area construction permit for a second story addition at 1785
Hunt Drive, zoned R-1.
Following a public hearing Council approved the request for a parking
dimension variance with the following conditions:
1. that the project parking shall be built in conformance with the
plans submitted to the Planning Department and date stamped
Novembez 8, �989; and

2. that the project shall be built according to all the requirements
of the Uniform Building and Uniform Fire Codes as amended by the
City of Burlingame.
The hillside area construction permit was denied without prejudice.
A denial without prejudice allows you to come back to the Planning
Commission for reapplication without another fee within a reasonable
time (for example, three months) as determined by Planning staff.
All site improvements and construction work will require separate
application to the Building Department. Approval of the parking
variance is valid for one year during which time a building permit
must be issued. One extension of up to one year may be considered by
the Planning Commission if application is made before the end of the
first year.
