Nicholas Stevens appeared with a map of a proposed subdivision of Lot 13,
Block 1, Subdivision No. 3 of Burlingame Park. After examining the survey map pre-
pared by Davenport Bromfield, licensed surveyor, this was approved for recommenda-
tion to the City Council. The proposed lots would each contain more than 9,500
square feet.
James J. Breen, Civil Engineer, representing Thos. Scoble & Sons Inc.,
appeared with a tentative map of a proposed subdivision of triangular area at
Hillside Drive and Skyline Boulevard. The parcel contains 0.56 acres. It was ex-
plained that it is the intention to divide this land into 3 parcels for residential
building purposes. The map indicated that Parcel A will contain 6,632 square feet,
Parcel B 6,988 square feet and Parcel C 6,732 square feet. The members of the
Planning Commission expressed the belief that this is a desirable development for
this land it was unanimously approved.
Mr. Scoble appeared with revised plans for proposed apartment house to be
constructed on Lot 13, Block 17, Burlingame Grove. These plans were submitted at
the meeting August 31 and referred back to the owner not approved because the plans
including provision for a 2-story garage structure at the rear of the lot. Mr.
Scoble, in the presence of Building Inspector Watson, indicated that the second
floor has been eliminated on the garage at the rear of the lot. The Planning Com-
mission approved the revised plans. Notation was made on the building permit that
the second floor over the garage is to be.eliminated.
Representatives of Moore & Masters appeared to apply for a permit to con-
struct a general woodworking mill. The tentative plans indicated a building approxi-
mately 200 x 250 to be located 300' East of the old Bayshore Highway and North of
Broadway. After discussion a motion was introduced approving the use of the site
for this purpose. On roll call the vote was as follows:

No - Stivers
Absent - Mitchell, Macomber
Building Inspector Watson presented plans for a proposed apartment struc-
ture to contain 5 units on Lot 1, Block 4, Burlingame Shore Land Co. This property
is located on the Bayshore Service Road at Winchester Drive. G. Klint, owner. Plans
approved.
