A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
APPROVING AN AGREEMENTWITH CARTEGRAPH SYSTEMS LLC TO PROVIDE
SOFTWARE SERV]CES FOR THE MAINTENANCE DIVISIONS OF THE PUBLIC
WORKS AND PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENTS, AND AUTHORIZING
THE CIry MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Public Works Corporation Yard currently uses Cartegraph software to
manage the City's maintenance and operation service activities and infrastructure assets; and
WHEREAS, the City has elected to implement the software as a subscription-based
service, and
WHEREAS, the City has been paying the subscription costs on a year-to-year basis;
and
WHEREAS, by approving a multi-year agreement, the City can fix the annual
subscription costs, thereby avoiding future price increases for the duration of the agreement;
and
WHEREAS, the City has negotiated a three-year service agreement with Cartegraph
Systems to provide software services for the Public Works and Parks and Recreation
Departments' operations and maintenance services in the amount of $128,952.68; and
WHEREAS, the scope of work under the agreement includes software hosting on web
servers, technical support, and necessary upgrades and training.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
The City Manager is authorized to execute a three-year agreement with Cartegraph
Systems LLC for hosted software services.

foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 7th
day of May, 2018 and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
