Since there was no appeal to or suspension by the City Council, the May 13, 2013, Planning
Commission denial of your application for a Conditional Use Permit for a change in use for an
existing two-story accessory structure, from storage to accessory living quarters, and for a
bathroom on the second floor of the accessory structure at 2301 Easton Drive, became effective
May 23, 2013.
Under city code requirements you may not reapply for this same project for a period of one year
from the effective date of this denial, May 23, 2014.
The decision of the Council is a final administrative decision pursuant to Code of Civil Procedure
Section 1094.6. If you wish to challenge the decision in a court of competent jurisdiction, you must do
so within 90 days of the date of the decision unless a shorter time is required pursuant to state or
federal law.

Hello Mr. Terry and Tim,
I am emailing to check in on the progress of Building Permit #B13-0255, which includes demolition of a tree house and
required changes to the accessory structure on the property at 2301 Easton.
I have had several inquiries on the status of the permit, which originated as a code enforcement issue. I noted that no
inspections have taken place for the permits since October, 2013.
Please provide me with an update at your earliest convenience.
