At the November 9, 2009 Planning Commission meeting, the Commission reviewed requested
changes to a previously approved design review project at 1208 Bernal Avenue, zoned R-1.
The revisions included changes to the roofing material from metal (with solar panels) to a two-
piece pre-aged clay tile, as well as changes throughout the building including modifications to
the windows, doors and chimney.
The Planning Commission acknowledged receiving the request and noted that the revisions
were consistent with the design previously approved.
The approved revisions shall meet all the requirements of the California Building Code and
California Fire Code, 2007 edition, as amended by the City of Burlingame.
