(650) 696-7200 Since there was no appeal to or suspension by the City Council, the August 10, 1998 Planning Commission approval of your sign exception amendment became effective September 9, 1998. This application was to allow 13 signs where 3 signs are allowed on a primary frontage at 1234 Burlingame Avenue, zoned C-1, Subarea A. The August 10, 1998 minutes of the Planning Commission state your application was approved with the following conditions: 1. that the signs shall be installed as shown on the plans submitted to the Planning Department and date stamped July 7, 1998; 2. that any increase in the number of the signs on the primary frontage shall require an amendment to this sign exception; and 3. that the project shall meet all the requirements of the municipal code and of the 1995 edition California Building and Fire Codes as amended by the City of Burlingame. All site improvements and constructian work will require separate application to the Building Department. This approval is valid for one year during which time a building permit must be issued. One extension of up to one year may be considered by the Planning Commission if application is made before the end of the first year. � .� September 10, 1998 1234 Burlingame Avenue page -2- The decision of the Council is a final administrative decision pursuant to Code of Civil Procedure Section 1094.6. If you wish to challenge the decision in a court of competent jurisdiction, you must do so within 90 days of the date of the decision unless a shorter time is required pursuant to state or federal law. Erection of the signage will require separate application to the Building Department.
