Re-check comments:
15 e.
Men's toilet facility:
1. The water closet for a side-entrance water closet compartment in a multi-
accommodation toilet facility must have a clear space of 60" from the face of the
water closet to the wall.
2. The 60" maneuvering clearance encroaches into the lavatory. This circle must
be 60" in diameter and clear to a distance 27" above the floor.
(One possible solution may be to move the lavatory closer to the door and reduce the
length of the modesty panel adjacent to the urinal, if possible.)
Women's toilet facility:
3. The 60" maneuvering clearance encroaches into the lavatory. This circle must
be 60" in diameter and clear to a distance 27" above the floor.
(One possible solution may be to eliminate the lavatory that is closest to the door.)
4. Fully dimension both bathrooms.
NOTE: A written response to these comments and plans that specifically address these comments
must be re-submitted before this project can move forward for Planning Commission action.

Any construction project in the City, regardless of size, shall comply with the City
NPDES permit requirement to prevent stormwater pollution from construction
activities. Project proponent shall ensure all contractors implement Best
Management Practices (BMPs) during construction.
Please include a list of construction stormwater pollution prevention best
management practices (BMPs), as project notes, when submitting plans for a
building permit. Please see attached brochure for guidance. The brochure may also
be down loaded directly from "flowstobay.org." It is recommended that the
construction BMP's be placed on a separate full size plan sheet (2' x 3` or larger as
appropriate) for readability.

Stormwater Pollution Prevention Program
Pollution Prevention — It's Part of the Plan
It is your responsibility to do the j ob right!
Runoff from shcets and other paved arees is a maj or sovrce ofpollurion in local creeks, San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean.
Construction activities can directly affect the health of our waters unless conhactors and crews plan ahead to keep dut, debris, and other
constiuction waste away from storm drains and creeks. Following these guidelines will ensure your comp]iance with local stormwater
ordinance requirements. Remembe , ongoing monitoring and maintenance of installed controls is crucial to proper implementation.
