Your request for Minor Design Review for changes to the front fa�ade of an existing commercial
building at 1123 Burlingame Avenue was reviewed by property owners within 100 feet, the Planning
Commission and the City Council. The changes to the front of the building include:
Removing the existing corridor and solid door along the right side of the front elevation;
2. Expanding the existing patio area into the existing corridor area; and
3. Adding a glass entry/exit door and ramp from restaurant into the patia area along the right side
of the front elevation where the corridor and solid door currently are.
Since there was no appeal, the Minor Design Review to allow for the changes listed above at 1123
Burlingame Avenue, zoned BAC, was approved effective August 7, 2013. The project must be
consistent with the plans submitted to the Planning Division on July 17, 2013.
All site improvements and construction work will require separate application to the Building
Department. This approval is valid for one year during which time a building permit must be
issued. One extension of up to one year may be considered by the Planning Commission if
application is made before the end of the first year.
