ADMINISTRATIVE USE PERMIT FOR ALTERATION OF AN EXISTING W/RELESS
COMMUNICATION FACILITY
Dear Property Owner,
The Burlingame Planning Division has received an application for an Administrative Use Permit to add new
microwave dish antennas to be co-located adjacent to an existing wireless communication facility at 1350
Bayshore Highway, Burlingame, CA.
Location: 1350 Bayshore Highway: The subject property is located on the east side of Bayshore Highway
between Airport Boulevard and Burlway Road and contains an existing office building.
Applicant: Christy Beltran Roberts (for Metro PCS)
Zoning: SL (Shoreline District) APN: 026-113-500
Description:
The proposed application includes installing seven (7), new 15-inch and 26-inch diameter
microwave dish antennas on an existing penthouse and associated equipment mounted inside an
existing cabinet on the rooftop of the building. The new microwave dish antennas will be painted
to match the building and will not extend above the top of the penthouse.
Your property is located within 300 feet of this property. An Administrative Use Permit has been requested to
allow for installation of new microwave dish antennas adjacent to an existing wireless communication facility based
on Municipal Code 25.77.050. Any noticed property owner may call this item up for review. If you would like to
request that this project be reviewed, which includes a public hearing, you should submit a written
request to the Community Development Director within twenty-one (21) days of the date of the notice, or
November 1, 2012.
If no written request for a public hearing regarding the application for Administrative Use Permit for the wireless
communication facility is received by the Community Development Department within finrenty-one (21) days of the
date of the notice, the Community Development Director shall take action on the application and may either grant
or deny the Administrative Use Permit and may impose conditions as applicable. If a written request for a public
hearing is received, within twenty-one (21) days of the date of the notice, the Community Development Director
shall schedule the application for a public hearing before the Planning Commission in accordance with Section
25.16.060.
