Dear Mr. Skjonsby:
Since there was no appeal to or suspension by the City Council,
the February 8, 1988 Planning Commission approval of your special
permit application became effective February 17, 1988.
This application was to allow classes in an office building at
1350 Bayshore Highway, zoned C-4. The February S, 1988 minutes of
the Planning Commission state your special permit was granted with
the following conditions:
l. that the training classes offered from the 1,764 SF area in
Suite 460 shall not exceed a maximum of 14 people and two
instructors, four days a week, Monday through Thursday;
2. that this business shall not employ more than one person full
time at this site and part time employees shall be limited to
those training the smaller (four person) sessions as described
in the applicant's letter dated Janury 8, 1988; and
3. that ail required parking spaces on this site be available to
the tenants and their public for use.
Any site improvements or construction work will require separate
application to the Building Department.

I am thQ only �mbloyee at th� Wes�Qrn C�ffice. We do not
anticipate hiring any o�her iull time of o�rt time employees in
the ner.t two years. In the next �ive years, i* decide we need
additi4nal �ersonnel, we w�uld most likely re3ocate as this
iacility would nvt be adequate for two �ull classes.

WHEREAS, this Commission held a public hearing on said

NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this
Planning Commission that said special permit is approved, subject to the
conditions set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
It is further directed that a certified copy of this resolution
be recorded in the official records of the County of San Mateo.
