Subject: Hillside Area Construction Permit at 1568 Alturas Drive, Burlingame.
Dear Ms. Samuels,
Your request for a Hillside Area Construction Permit was reviewed by property owners within
100 feet, the Planning Commission and the City Council. Since there was no appeal, a Hillside
Area Construction Permit for major rear yard remodel which will include: importing fill to
increase the grade in the rear yard and constructing retaining walls for the construction
of an outdoor fire pit, kitchen, a swimming pool and spa, a sport court and new entry
stairs at the front of the 1568 Alturas Drive, zoned R-1, was approved.
The project must be consistent with the plans submitted to the Planning Division an� date
stamped June 20, 2017. Any changes to these plans shall be subject to further Hillside Area
Construction Permit procedures.
All site improvements and construction work will require separate application to the Building
Department. This approval is valid for one year during which time a building permit must
be issued. An extension of up to one year may be considered by the Ptanning Commission if
application is made before the end of the first year,
