Location: 3 California Drive: The subject property is located on the northwest corner of California Drive and Peninsula Avenue and contains an existing automobile dealership. Applicant: T-Mobile West Corporation Zoning: CAR (California Drive Auto Row) APN: 029-242-240 Description: The proposed application includes 1) replacing three (3) existing wall-mounted panel antennas with three (3) new wall-mounted panel antennas and associated equipment within existing screened boxes on the exterior wall of the building and 2) adding associated equipment within an existing equipment enclosure on the rooftop of the building. The existing screened boxes will be enlarged by 2'-10" in length and will be painted to match the building. There is no increase in the number of antennas with this application. Your property is located within 300 feet of this property. An Administrative Use Permit has been requested to allow for alteration of an existing wireless communication facility based on Municipal Code 25.77.050. Any noticed property owner may call this item up for review. If you would like to request that this project be reviewed, which includes a public hearing, you should submit a written request to the Community Development Director within twenty-one (21) seven days of the date of the notice, or February 5, 2016. If no written request for a public hearing regarding the application for Administrative Use Permit for the wireless communication facility is received by the Community Development Department within twenty-one (21) days of the date of the notice, the Community Development Director shall take action on the application and may either grant or deny the Administrative Use Permit and may impose conditions as applicable. If a written request for a public hearing is received, within twenty-one (21) days of the date of the notice, the Community Development Director shall schedule the application for a public hearing before the Planning Commission in accordance with Section 25.16.060.
