Your request for Minor Design Review for changes to the front fa�ade of an existing commercial
building was reviewed by property owners within 100 feet, the Planning Commission and the
City Council. The changes to the front of the building include:
1) Removing an existing awning, horizontal band and exterior light fixtures; and
2) Replacing the existing wood windows and doors on either side of the main entry with a new
aluminum clad wood door system that folds to create a large opening.
Since there was no appeal, the Minor Design Review to allow for the changes listed above at
1448 Burlingame Avenue, zoned BAC, was approved effective November 26, 2012. The
project must be consistent with the plans submitted to the Planning Division on October 30,
2012.
All site improvements and construction work will require separate application to the Building
Department. This approval is valid for one year during which time a building permit must
be issued. One extension of up to one year may be considered by the Planning Commission if
application is made before the end of the first year.
