Your request for Minor Design Review for changes to the front fa�ade of an existing commercial
storefront at 1309 Burlingame Avenue, zoned BAC, was reviewed by property owners within
100 feet. The changes to the building include:
■ Replacing the existing awning with a new vertical fabric awning flush with the exterior wall.
■ Adding a new cedar wood panel between the bottom of the new awning and the top of the
existing storefront system.
Since there was no appeal, the Minor Design Review to allow for the changes listed above at
1309 Burlingame Avenue was approved effective May 25, 2018. The project must be consistent
with the plans submitted to the Planning Division date stamped May 11, 2018.
All site improvements and construction work will require separate application to the Building
Department. This approval is valid for one year during which time a building permit must be
issued. One extension of up to one year may be considered by the Planning Commission if
application is made before the end of the first year.
