Dear Mr. Walter:
Since there was no appeal or suspension by the City Council of Planning
Commission action at their January 23, 1978 meeting, the variance to construct
a new garage to a side property line in an R-1 District at 1453 Cabrillo
Avenue became effective February 7, 1978.
The variance was unanimously approved by the Planning Commission "with the
understanding that the garage would be 8' from the house and the laundry area
would be built on a solid foundation. ." It was noted by Commission that
there are exceptional circumstances applicable to this property.
All site improvements and construction work will require separate application
to the Building Departmen t.
