NAOMI P. FlZZARIA 1510 Cypress Avenue Burlingame, California 94010 Dear Mrs. Azzaria: On June 6;h our City Council adopted a resolution formally approv- ing the use of the quarters attached to your garage for sleeping by your . two sons. They asked that; I send a copy of the resolution to you, and also that I inform you of one particular provision which I have placed in the document. In paragraph 3 on the second page it states: "Should the two sons vacate said quarters for a period in excess of six months, they shall be deemed to no longer inhabit said quarters and this permit shall terminate." My intention in including that language is so that the permit would terminate if both your sons do not use the sleeping quarters for a lengthy period of time. I used a specific period of time so that there would not be an argument in the future over how long the room would have to be vacated. The particular period of six months is common in ordinances or codes regarding abandonment of property. Please contact me if you have any questions about the contents of this resolution.
