Date: 07.21.98 f%]" ilm� Margaret Monroe, City Planner RESOLUTION APPROVING CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION AND LOT COVERAGE VARIANCE RESOLUTION 31-98 RESOLVED, by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame that: WHEREAS, a categorical exemption has been proposed and application has been made for a lot coverage variance to enlarge an existing deck and add a residential disabled accessible lift and stairs at 922 Capuchino Avenue zoned R-2 APN• 026-222-120• Benny and Procsy M. Yadao, property owners; WHEREAS, said matters were heard by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame on July 13, 1998, at which time it reviewed and considered the staff report and all other written materials and testimony presented at said hearing; NOW, THEREFORE, it is RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this Planning Commission that: 1. On the basis of the Initial Study and the documents submitted and reviewed, and comments received and addressed by this commission, it is hereby found that there is no substantial evidence that the project set forth above will have a significant effect on the environment, and Categorical Exemption, per Article 19. Section: 15301 Class 1 - (e) additions to existing structures provided the addition will not result in an increase of more than 50 % of the floor area of the structures before the addition. 2. Said variance is approved, subject to the conditions set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. Findings for such variance is as set forth in the minutes and recording of said meeting. 3. It is further directed that a certified copy of this resolution be recorded in the official records of the County of San Mateo. CHAIRMAN I, Dave Luzuriaga , Secretary of the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission held on the 13th day of July, 1998 , by the following vote: AYES: COMMISSIONERS: COFFEY, KEY, LUZURIAGA, BOJUES, KEIGHRAN, VISTICA AND DEAL NOES: COMMISSIONERS: NONE ABSENT: COMMISSIONERS: NONE EXHIBIT "A" Conditions of approval for categorical exemption and variance. 922 CAPUCHINO AVENUE effective JULY 20,1998 that the project shall be built as shown on the plans submitted to the Planning Department date stamped July 1, 1998 Sheets 1 and 2; 2. that the applicant shall apply for a building permit for the deck and residential disabled accessible lift within 30 days of the date of this variance approval; that two covered parking spaces be provided on the right hand side of the existing garage and that the laundry facilities shall be relocated if necessary within 30 days; that the residential disabled accessible lift and equipment enclosure shall be non reflective; and 5. that the project shall meet all the requirements of the California Building and Fire Codes, 1995 edition, as amended by the City of Burlingame.
