HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - PC - 002-98RECORDING REQUESTED BY Planning Department City of Burlingame WHEN RECORDED MAIL TO: PLANNING DEPARTMENT CITY OF BURLINGAME 501 PRIMROSE ROAD BURLINGAME, CA 94010 Resolution No. 2-98 2649 MARTINEZ DRIVE; APN: 025-062-140 TITLE OF DOCUMENT I hereby certify this to be a full, true and correct copy of the document it purports to be, the original of which is on file in MY Dav RESOLUTION APPROVING CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION AND HILLSIDE AREA CONSTRUCTION PERMIT AND MINOR MODIFICATION RESOLVED, by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame that: WHEREAS, a categorical exemption has been proposed and application has been made for a hillside area construction permit and minor modification for a first floor addition and a new deck at 2649 Martinez Drive zoned R-1, APN: 025-062-140; Albert G. and June C. Baggiani, property owners; WHEREAS, said matters were heard by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame on January 12, 1998 , at which time it reviewed and considered the staff report and all other written materials and testimony presented at said hearing; NOW, THEREFORE, it is RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this Planning Commission that: 1. On the basis of the Initial Study and the documents submitted and reviewed, and comments received and addressed by this commission, it is hereby found that there is no substantial evidence that the project set forth above will have a significant effect on the environment, and Categorical Exemption, per Article 19. Section: 15301 Class 1 - (e) additions to existing structures provided the addition will not result in an increase of more than 50% of the floor area of the structures before the addition. 2. Said hillside area construction permit and minor modification are approved, subject to the conditions set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. Findings for such hillside area construction permit and minor modification are as set forth in the minutes and recording of said meeting. 3. It is further directed that a certified copy of this resolution be recorded in the official records of the County of San Mateo. I, Jerry L. Deal , Secretary of the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission held on the 12th day of January , 1998 , by the following vote: AYES: COMMISSIONERS: NOES: COMMISSIONERS: ABSENT: COMMISSIONERS: EXHIBIT "A" Conditions of approval for categorical exemption, hillside area construction permit and minor modification 2649 MARTINEZ DRIVE effective January 21, 1998 that the project shall be built as shown on the plans submitted to the Planning Department and date stamped October 22, 1997, Sheets lA and 2A; 2. that any changes to the deck height (elevation 108.4'), deck rail height (elevation 111.4') or deck area (875 SF) and any changes to the redwood lattice divider (18" wide X 8' long X 5' high as measured from the surface of the deck at the approximate center of the deck next to the spa) shall require an amendment to this Hillside Area Construction Permit; and that this project shall meet all the requirements of the California Building and Fire Codes, 1995 Edition, as amended by the City of Burlingame.
