OTriERS PRE" G. Stanley Whitehead
Chairman MitchelL presiding.
:Rr. Whitehead reported that he is workinb on the list of post-war
projects, some of which may be considered in the catedor; of requiring cur-
rent attention, and this will be submitted at an early date. He, presented
maps showing details as to the number of cars that could be parked on
certain off-street areas in the Burlingame Avenue business district. In
going over these, it seemed to those present that the entire matter needs
considerable study before the City Planning Commission would feel justified
in making a definite recommendation to the council and the thought was ex-
pressed that it may be found best to look with favor upon the plan in
general, but to submit recommendations with respect to it in parts in order
to observe results as the plan .may develop. Mr. Coles said that he will
prepare a memorandum along this line to submit at the next meeting. After
a discussion on the subject, the meeting was adjourned at 10:45 p.m. to be
resumed next Tuesday evening.
