Dear Ms. Harmon and Ms. Cohendet,
Since there was no appeal to or suspension by the Ciry Council, the March 24, 1997 Planning
Commission approval of your special permit beca.me effective Apri17, 1997. This application
was to allow retail use at Adeline Center at 1500/1500A Adeline Drive, zoned C-1.

witn the following a: .aed conditions:
1. that the travel agency shall use 931 SF at 1500 Adeline Drive and 414 SF at 1500A
Adeline Drive as shown on the plans submitted to the Planning Department date
stamped February 11, 1997 (floor plan) and March 18, 1997 (site plan);
2. that the business may be open from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday - Friday and
closed Saturday and Sunday and shall not be open earlier than 7:00 a. m. or later
than 7:00 p, m. , Monday through Saturday and 10:00 a. m. to 6:00 p, m. , on Sundays
with no more than 4 employees on site at any one time;
3. that any changes to the hours of operation, number of employees, size of tenant
space or any other aspect of the business at this location shall require an amendment
to this use permit; and
4. that the project sha11 meet all the requirements of the municipal code and of the 1995
edition California Building and Fire Codes as amendetl by the City of Burlingame.

All site improvements and construction work will require separate application to the Building
Department. This approval is valid for one year during which time a building permit must be
issued. One extension of up to one year may be considered by the Planning Commission if
application is made before the end of the first year.
The decision of the Council is a final administrative decision pursuant to Code of Civil
Procedure Section 1094.6. If you wish to challenge the decision in a court of competent
jurisdiction, you must do so within 90 days of the date of the decision unless a shorter time is
required pursuant to state or federal law. � '
Erection of the signage will require separate application to the Building Department.
