RESOLUTION N0. 30-88
RESOLUTION APPROVING FENCE EXCEPTION
RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of
Burlingame that:
WHEREAS, application has been made for a fence exception for
an over hei�ht fence within the front setback
at 704 Vernon Way ,� APN 029-171-460 �,
and
WHEREAS, this Commission held a public hearing on said
application on June 27 , 1988, at which time it reviewed
and considered the staff report and all other written materials and
testimony presented at said hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this.
Planning Commission that said fence exception is approved, subject
to the conditions set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
It is further directed that a certified copy of this
resolution be recorded in the official records of the County of San
Mateo.

EXHIBIT "A"
Conditions of approval, Fence
Exception, 704 Vernon Way
(effective July 6, 1988)
Property owner:

Burlingame, CA 94010
1. that the portion of the fence shown on the plans submitted
to the Planning Department and date stamped April 5, 1988
shall be built to a height of 6'-3-1/4" in the front and 5'-
3-1/4" in the back by removing one foot of lattice from the
top of the structure;
2. that application be made for an encroachment permit and
approved by the City Council; and
3. that a retroactive building permit shall be applied for and
obtained including final inspection of the fence and a
penalty fee charged according to the requirements of the
Uniform Building Code for failure to obtain a building
permit.
