Subject: Hillside Area Construction Permit for a first sfory addition at 2731 Summit
Drive, Burlingame.
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Arcilla,
Your request for a Hillside Area Construction Permit was reviewed by property owners within
100 feet, the Planning Commission and the City Council. Since there was no appeal, a Hillside
Area Construction Permit for a first story addition at the rear of 2731 Summit Drive, was
approved.
The project must be consistent with the plans submitted to the Planning Division and date
stamped June 10, 2021. Any further changes to these plans shall be subject to further Hillside
Area Construction Permit procedures.
All site improvements and construction work will require a separate application to the Building
Department. This approval is valid for one year during which time a building permit must be
issued. An extension of up to one year may be considered by the Planning Commission if
application is made before the end of the first year.

APPLICATION FOR A HILLSIDE AREA CONSTRUCTION PERMIT FOR A FIRST STORY
ADDITION AT 2731 SUMMIT DRIVE, ZONED R-1. The proposed project includes a 374 SF
addition to the first floor (at the rear) of the existing one-story, single family dwelling. The
addition will be on the rear right portion of the house, set back 15'-0" from the right side property
lir�e and 21'-0" from the rear property line. The proposed project complies with all other zoning
re�uirements in th� R-1 zoning district.
Your property is located within 100 feet of this property. A Hillside Area Construction Permit has
been requested to allow this improvement based on Municipal Code Section 25.61.
Any noticed property owner may call this item up for additional review. If you would like to
request that this project be reviewed, which includes a public hearing, you should submit
a written and sigr�ed request to the Community Development Director within seven days of
the postmark on this letter (by Wednesday. Julv 7, 2021). You may also e-mail any written
requests to the project planner below. Copies of the proposed project are enclosed for your
review.

proposed construetion shall not have a substantial impact on the adjacent properties or on the
