.Burlingame, held in tha City gall at
8:00ti. m., jhursday ev3ning, larch 5,
1942.
•rhe meeting was called for the purpose of ch3cking
blue prints of plans pro;osed to be -erected by the
Lang tcealty Corporation on the bayshore highway.
it was agreed at the previous meeting that a dele-
gation of the riurlingabl is--Uakgrove _ _anor would be
on hand to examine the plans as revised.
xr. ;. ualloway again headed the Committee op-
posing the dupleae scheme as before, several other
members also spoke in support of .sir. ualloway, all
claiming that it •, ould ruita the district, that the
souses would be of cheap construction, and that in
a few years, mould dater'.orate the rest of the homes.
The uonnission contended that the houses would be
substantial in every resp+act, and would oot�ie up to
the standard of the slrrou.nding houses, if not ev n
superior.
After a thorough understanding,, the Commission voted,
by a majority of tour to one, not to recofuiaend any
change in the pres6nt classification of the prop !rty
involved.
