Your property is located within 100 feet of this property. The review criteria for a Hillside Area Construction Permit includes blockage of distant views from neighboring properties. Any noticed property owner may request review of this application if they feel that existing distant views will be blocked by the proposed construction. If you would like to request that this project be called up for review, which includes a public hearing, you should submit a written request to the City Planner within seven days from the postmark of this letter. Unless review of the application is requested the Hillside Area Construction Permit shall be approved. On November 5, 1991, the City Council passed Ordinance 1447, which established a public review procedure for additions or modifications to structures in designated hillside areas. The intent of this ordinance is to allow neighbors, the Planning Commission, and City Council an opportunity to review all construction in the hillside area which cou/d affect existing distant views from inside structures on nearby properties (Burlingame Municipa/ Code Section �5.61). A copy of the site plan, floor plans and building elevations are enclosed for your review. If you wish to call this item up for review, please contact the Planning Department in writing by 5:00 P.M. within seven (7) days of the post mark on this letter.
