Hampton 2412 Valdivia Way Burlingame, CA 94010 Dear Mr. and Mrs. Hampton: Your request for a hillside area construction permit was reviewed by property owners within 100', the Planning Commission and City Council. Since there was no appeal a hillside area construction permit to allow a new 1,068 SF deck at 2412 Valdivia Way, zoned R-1 was approved as of March 16, 1992. All site improvements and construction work will require separate application to the Building Department. This approval is valid for one year during which time a building permit must be issued. One extension of up to one year may be considered by the Planning Commission if application is made before the end of the first year. ENCROACHMENT PERMIT FOR LANDSCAPE ISLANDS AT 1408 CHAPIN City Council Minutes - 3/16/92 Public Works memo of March 10 recommended council approve this request in accordance with usual conditions for two five foot by five foot landscape islands in the public right-of-way; neighboring property have landscape islands in similar positions. Councilman Aarrison moved approval of the Consent Calendar. Seconded by CoUncilman Lembi, carried unanimously by voice vote. COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS Chamber of Commerce/Convention Bureau: Councilwoman Knight reported on an enjoyable lunch at which Lou Turpin spoke about the Airport Master Plan. ABAG: Mayor Pagliaro said he and Councilwoman O'Mahony would attend the annual meeting. OLD BUSINESS Sign Ordinance: Mayor Pagliaro and council had received a report from the City Attorney regarding promotional signs; Mayor asked this be reviewed at a future study meeting. SCHEDULE APPEAL HEARING Mayor Pagliaro set an appeal hearing for April 2o for the pro- posed theater at 241 California Drive. F,CKNOWLEDGEMENTS ' a. � c. HILLSIDE CONSTRUCTION PERMIT NOTICES Councilwoman Knight asked about the procedure for the Hillside Construction permits, she was interested in the 1401 Hillside Circle application; staff will consider it called up for review pending her inspection of plans in Planninq Department. PLANNER REPORTS CP Monroe reviewed City Council actions at its March 2, 1992 regular meeting. ADJOURNMENT Commission expressed its appreciation to the City Council for the Commissioners' Dinner at the Marriott hotel March 6, 1992. The meeting was adjourned at 8:55 P.M.
