Dear Mr. Deal,
Your request for a hillside area construction permit was reviewed by property owners within 100 feet, the
Planning Commission and the City Council. Since there was no appeal, a hillside area construction permit
for a first floor addition (159 SF) at the front and rear of the house at 2320 Valdivia Way, zoned R-1, was
approved effective October 31, 2003. The project must be consistent with the plans submitted to the
Planning Department and date stamped October 21, 2003, sheets 1-6.
All site improvements and construction work will require separate application to the Building Department.
This approval is valid for one year during which time a building permit must be issued. One extension of
up to one year may be considered by the Planning Commission if application is made before the end of the
first year.
