The proposed changes include: removing the fireplace/chimney in the living room; changing the wood burning fireplace approved in the family room to a gas fireplace, eliminating the chimney; changing the size and type of windows in the master bedroom, bedroom #2 and bedroom #3 from single hung to casement windows; and increasing the size of the rear master bedroom window from 4' x 4'6" to 4' x 5' to meet egress. The Planning Commission acknowledged receiving the request and had no objections. The approved revisions shall meet all the requirements of the California Building Code and California Fire Code, 2001 edition, as amended by the City of Burlingame, and shall be submitted as a revision to the Building Department. However, Commission noted that in the future egress windows should be noted and propc i zed on all plans and plaus sholild not be accepted until they are so noted. The egress requirement is we :�own to architects, designers and contractors, and such requirements should be included and revie�� as a part of the origiilal desi�7 review. XI.
