This space is in the east wing of the main building and includes rooms 3 and 4, the adjacent hallway, and the supply rooms immediately across the hall from room 4-- a total of 2,790 square feet. A second party also bi� on this space as a portion of their total bid. The resolution of this mutual interest has been explained in 9,1. The applicant has requested alternate No. 3 of lease ter`ms which is a five year lease without option. The Peninsula Early Learning Center, Inc. provides a Nontessori �ethod educational program designed for youngsters 2 years 9 months through 6 years. It is incorporated as a non-profit organi- zation in the state of California and is mana�ed by a Board of Directors. This organization has continuously operated since 1969. Its need to relocate is precipitated by the sale and development of existing leased premises for condominium construction. All information requested in the Bid Pr000sal form including a cashier's check for the two m�nth rent deposi_t has been provided. The references provided have been contacted with very positive responses received from each one. A copy of the Federal tax re- turn for school year 1979-$0 has been received and reviewed along with a proposed budget for the 1981-82 school year. Both documents show stronp financial stability. The operation of the school appears to meet all of the nei�hborhood guidelines as set forth in Item 3 of the Bid Resolution. Each teacher is responsible for keeping daily records of children's activities in her area.
