Minutes of the meeting of the Planning Oommission held
in the City Rail, Burlingame, on Thursday evenin ;, Jane
25, 1942.
J. H. Mitchell, U. A. Brown, L. Lon --son and Mac-
donald were present when the meeting was called at 7:30
P . M. , Dr. I-Jacomber and Harrison Coles appearing later.
Mr. Robert Parkinson, Engineer Public Reserve, in the
service of the Government, who had been invited to at-
tend the meeting, was introd::.ced by Mr. Loneson.
mr. Parkinson stated that he is gathering information nn
Civic Projects already contem-plated, or that may be in
contemplation, for future developments after the Vlar.
He is compiling a list of such projects, labor and mater-
ial costs, and to be taken up progressively during a
period of years after the Tar.
Burlin-ame has already, thruugh Mr. Longson, compiled
several projects to be submitted. Among them are the
extension of California Drive to Millbrae, Swimming and
Yacht inner Harbor, Rae Park and Burlingame Village
improvements, extension of Bellevue Avenue and Underpass.
The Chairman stated that the matter will be discussed
after the Vacation period is over; also make scotch of
the proposed inner Harbor.
Owing to the vacation season, it was decided not to hold
a meeting in July.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at
10 : 30 P . IT.
