Gommission held in the city Hall, Burl-
ingame, on Yriday evening, august 28.
The meeting was postponed from August 27.
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P. A., d . H.
Mitchell, presiding. Uther members present: Mayor
Coleman, voles, Rapp, Watson and macdonald.
A Communication from nurlingables--Oak urove katnor
improvement Club, expressing its understanding and
approval of the duplexes being built on the nayshore
Highway by the tang Realty jorporation, was reed by
the Secretary and ordered filed.
The plot plan furnished by Mr. Lang, after minor
changes pro;osad by thy. ;ommission and agreed to by
,fir. Lang, was turned over to the nuilding inspector
for future reference when the neessary material is
available. The intention is to show avariance in the
set -back of the different units as wall as in the ex-
terior appearance.
It was remarked there appeared to be a misunderstand-
ing of the scope and duties invested in the Planning
Commission among other Organizations where interrelated
activities are involved. it developes that a Mui.lding
has been erected on may Park and some improvements
made in Burlingame village without being submitted to
the Planning Gotmmission for is recommohda.tion.
Mr. u. Coleman, who was present at the meeting, pro-
posed that representatives of the Planning Jommission
and the Recreation uommission'meet jointly with the
City : ouncil to discuss similar activities or projects
requiring recimmendation from the Planning commission.
Mr. Smith, of the Recreation ;;ommission, Mr. Anderson,
Park Superintendent, and ur. Mitchall, Uhairman of the
Planning nommissiLn, were mentioned ;s representatives to
to the joint session.
there being no further business, the meeting adjourned
at 10:30 P. M.
