Please follow the directions listed below. Step 1: Place the sign in the front yard within five feet of the sidewalk, so that it can be easily viewed from the public right-of-way. Open the a -frame sign so that both sides of the sign are visible from the sidewalk/street (parallel to the sidewalk). Do not place the sign on the sidewalk or in the area between the sidewalk and street. Step 2: Complete the attached Affidavit (see reverse side) and email a photograph of the posted notice in the front yard and signed Affidavit to the Planning Division immediately after the sign is posted. Please send the email to the project planner. Step 3: The sign must remain in place until the day after the Planning Commission meeting. Following the Planning Commission meeting, the next steps will apply: If your project was a Study Item, the project planner will either ask you to return the sign or send you updated information sheets to add to the sign. If your project was an Action Item, return the sign to the Planning Division within two days of the meeting. Please note that failure to post the design review notice sign and provide the required verification may cause a delay in the processing of the application. The design review notice sign is property of the City of Burlingame and cannot be used for personal purposes; please return the sign to the Planning Division as directed by the project planner.
