RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BURI;INGAME APPROVING AND ORDERING REORGANIZATION
TO DETACH FROM THE CITY OF HILLSBOROUGH AND ANNEX
TO THE CITY OF BURLINGAI�1E - PORTION OF HOOVER
SCHOOL SITE
RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame
as follows:
, WHEREAS, there has heretofore been filed with the Local
Agency Formation Commission of the County of San Mateo a petition for a
Municipal reorganization.to detach'from the City of Hillsborough and
annex to the City of Burlingame that certain territory more fully
described hereinafter and known as the Lands of Hoover School Site.
WHEREAS, said proposal was approved by the Local Agency
Forma�tion Commission, and this Council was authorized to proceed without
notice, hearing or election.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby ORDERED, DETERMINED and FOUND
as follows:

1. Proceedings were �commenced by petition of the property
owners under the Cortese-Knox Reorganization Act of 1985, Section 56000,
et se ., of the Government Code.
2. The affected cities are Burlingame and Hillsborough.
3. The chenge of organization proposed is the detachment
of the subject area from the City of Hillsborough and its annexation to
the City of Burlingame.
• 4. The reason for the reorganization as described in the
proposal is to allow the development.of the surplus school site within
one city.
5. The only terms or conditions of the preposed reorganiz-
ation contained in LAFCO's Resolution 770 was the submission of a revised
map and•legal description, which condition has been met.
6. The descript'ion of the boundaries of the area involved
in such change of organization is more particularly set forth in EXHIBIT
A attached hereto and by reference made a part hereof.

REORGANIZATION OF THE LANDS OF THE
BUP,LINGAME SCHOOL DISTRICT ET. AL,
TO THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
Beginning at a point on the southerly line of Summit Drive, said
Point being at the intersection of the.westerly line of Lot 4,
Block 5 and said southerly line as sa.id Drive, Lot and Block are
shown on the map entitled, "Burlingame Hills, San Mateo County,
California," filed in Volume 9 of t4aps at Page 2, San Mateo
County Records, said point also being an angle point in the cor-
porate limits of the Town of Hillsborough as established by
Annexation No. 7 dated August 23, 1921; Thence from said
Point of Beginning southerly along said corporate limits and said
�esterl� line of Lot 4 and the westerly line of Lot 5, Block 5,
South 4 30' West 145.04 feet; Thence on att arc curve to the
right, having a radius of 600 feet, a central angle of 19� 37'
23", an arc length of 205.49 feet to a point of reverse curva-
ture; �nence on an arc curve to t�e left, having a radius of
382.85 feet, a central angle of 24� 16' 26", an arc length o£
162.20 feet to a point of compound curvature; 'I'hence, on an arc
curve to the right, having a radius of 144.62, a central angle of
.31� 36' 28", an arc length of 79.78 feet ; Thence on an arc curve
to the right having a radius of 413.41 feet, a central angle of
24° 51' 38", an arc length of 179.38 feet to a point in the
northerly line of Summit Drive (50' radius) as shown on said map;
Thence leaving said westerly boundary of�said Lot 5'and the co-
porate limits as establishsd by said Annexation No. 7, on an arc
curvA �o the lPft, having a radius of 50 feet, a central angle of
58° 50' 34" an arc length of 51.35 feet to a point in the center-
line of Summit Drive (40 feet in width) as shown on the map en-
�titled "Tract No. 508, Block 1 and Lots 1-4 incl. Block 2".
Burlingame Hills No. 4, filed in Volume 21 of Maps at Page 28,
San Mat�o County Records, sa.id point also being an angle point in
the cor.porate limits of the Town of Hillsborough as established
by Ordinance Dio. 148 dated July 10, 1939 and the corporate limits
of t�e City of Burlingame as established by Ordinance No. 701
dat=d SPptember 21, 1959; Thence leaving said centerline, in a
northwesterly direction along said corporate city limits to the
northerly line of Summit Drive (40' in width) and a point in the
east?rl_y boundary of the map entitled, "Map of Belvedere Heights,
Aurlingame; San Mateo County, California,': filed in Volume 53 of
Maps at Page 43, San Mateo.County Records; Thence northerly along
said e3sterly boundary and said corporate limits of Hillsborough
(Ordinance No. 148) and Burlingame (Ordinance No. 701) on an arc
curve to the right, having a radius of 463.41 feet, a central
angle of 25° 08' 58" an arc length of 203.41 feet to a point of
rcompound curvature; Thence an an arc curve to the right, having a
adius of 194.62 feet, a central angle 31° 39' 40", an arc length
of 102.02 fe=t; Thence on an arc curve to the right, having a
radius of 432.85 feet, a central angle of 0° 42' 42", an arc
length of 0.59 feet to an angle point in said map and corpoiate
limits (Ordinance No. 701), said point also being an angle point
in the corporate limits of the City of Burlingame as established
by Ordinance No. 511 dated June 18, 1951; Thence�leaving said
ea'sterly boundary of said map (53 Maps 43) and said corporate
limits of Burlingame (Osdinance No. 701), and continuing on said
corporate limits of Hillsborough (Ordinance No. 148) and the
southeasterly boiindary of said Ordinance No. 511, northeasterly
on a linR which is parallel with, and distant 5C.00 feet at right
angles westerly, from the westerly line of Lots 4 and 5, Slock 5,
a„ shown on said map entitled, "Maps of Burlingame Hills," (9
Maps 2) a clistance of 420 feet more or less to a point in the
southerly line of said Summit Drive; Thence leaving said,south-
eastarly boundary of said corporate limits of Burlingame (Ordi-
nance No. 511) and said corporate limits of Hillsborough (Ordi-
nance No. 148) southerly.along said southerly line a distance of
52 feet more or less to the Point of Beginning.
