1. Said variance from parking requirements at 860 SEanton
�d, Eurlingame, is hereby approved as set forth in the project
essment dated November 'L, 1978 „and revised November 22,. 197tS,
wit, Curley-Bates Company may remodel 2,550 square feet of
ehouse space into office space in the existing building at
Stanton Road and provide 35 on-site parking spaces, with 91%
said parking spaces heing allowed to be substandard.
NOW., THEREFORE, it is hereby ORDERED AIZD DETEP.MINED as

;� WHEREAS, Curley-Bates Company has applied for a variance

"from parking requirements to allow remodeling of warehouse space

:�into office space at 860 Stanton Road (APN 026-302-440); and
!I WHEREAS, said application ior a variance was heard on

i�November 27, 1978, after due notice and hearing as requiXed by

��the ordinances of the City of Burlingame and the laws of the State
�Iof California;

Company and is non-transferable;
(b) That all interior construction be consistent with
thoseplans date stamped October 26, 1978;

(c) That reconstruct3.on of the parking lot be consistent
with Scheme B(35 on-site parking spaces); all parking spaces
to be striped and those spaces less than 20 feet in length
to be marked "compact car�only" (14 of the 35 total spaces);
(d) That the northeasterly truck loading dock door be
permanently closed;
(e) Thal- not more than 35 persons be employed on Chis
property at any one time; and
(f) That if said property is sold or leased by Curley-

Bates Company or is used by said company forp�7�ses other
than as described in the documents hereinbefore referred to,
the variance herein granted shall be subject to review by
the City and subject to such modifications as it may, after
hearing, determine, including the removal of the 2,850 square
feet of improvements authorized under the terms of this
variance.
