Lewit SUBJECT: as- built changes There were several as -built changes to the project that were not part of the original Planning Commission approval. These changes were determined not to require an FYI or Design Review Amendment and were approved at the Planning Staff level. See details below: Two windows were eliminated at the left elevation. The first was in the kitchen on the first floor, was approved as with 3 window sections and was built with just a blank stucco wall. The second window eliminated was at the front of the house to the right of the chimney. Based on the fact that the windows were located on the side of the house with a 4,-0" setback to the fence and were therefore did not have high visibility and the fact that the left elevation has a number of windows on both the first and second floors, the changes were determined by Staff to not have a significant negative impact on the overall design. 2. A window was added at the left side of the covered porch, leading into the living room and the first window on the right side of the first floor was installed with a longer length dimension that what was approved. The additional window and the altered window both match the style and pattern of the approved windows and were therefore considered by Staff to be consistent with the overall design. The approved second floor wood trim at the base of the window enclosure and dividing the two story element at the rear of the house was not installed. Staff determined that this trim was integral to the overall design and to breaking the massing at the rear of this driveway side and therefore, the contractor was required to install the trim before a final was issued.
