The Planning 'ommission met with a �;ommitte•
representing nroadway business Caen in a closed
session on :h-aresday march 23, 1939. � The meeting
was arranged with hir. Levy, President of the r
Broadway Issociation to discuss facilities for
the improvement of Broadway.usiness Llection by
providing alley ways in rear of business property
on both sides of Broadway and the possible opening
of Rhine t to _venue through t'o 'apuchino Avenue in
order to facilitate the flow of traffic.
Messrs. Levy, nradbury, larks, Linden and others
spoke favorably of the scheme proposed and it was
arranged to refer the matter to Dir. Longson to
prepare details, together with probable costs.
ar. Mitchell submitted a schetch indicating the
opening of i.hhine tts Avenue, and how it. would tend
to improve the circulation of traffic.
Altogether a very pleasant discussion was in-
dulged in.
it was disclosed also that Rr. Muir had withdrown h
his application to rezone lot 4, on _;apuchinoand
that Ur. Anderson asked for thirty days delay on the
petition.
