Commission, 3'arlingame, held in the
.;ity aall, on Thursday evening, April
27, 1969.
The meeting; was caller' to order at 7:; 50 P. &i. , James
H. Mitchell, presiding. Memu3rs present, :i&:3 itogers,
A. J. xapp, Dr. Macomber, u. Coleekan, Mayor Hunt,
Chas Liacdonald and J . Matson, build rig inspector;
absent, J. F. Davis and �;. L. Longsdn.
Mr. C. K. h.irkbride, formally 3ubmittoi a tentative
scheme proposed to improve the vouthwest corer of
t5roadway and _ayshora _oulevard. ar. &irkbride wanted
to get an opinion from the Planning commission as to
the practicability of such a development as he con-
templated. A latt3r was also read frori, the --roadway
Development -Association sapporti ig the project. The
Gommissicn also commenter .favorably. uowever, Mr.
Kir=bride anticipated some revision would be necessary
in tile filial plan.
The apolicatioii of Lr. K. howe to erect a 4asol4ne
ervice 5tatioii at the .,orner of Cak Grove Avenue and

argued at length by Air. &reis, representing ,ter. Howe,
who claimed that this being an arterial stop, it com-
plied with the city Crdi_iance, and that it should be
granted. The lots ao bei.io suitable for residences,
if denied, they would find it -pie pessary to resort to

stated that they had not been able to dispose of it
for residential use on account of the location.

Lang, who made it clear that, if granted, he would be
entitled to similar privilages on his property on the
opposite side.
`he.;ommission held its decision pending further study,
but that the result obtained would be communicated to
Mr. Lreis on or before the meeting -to be held on .may 25.

ative approval was carried unanimouslyb arter advise
