THE EXISTING WALL AT THE LEFT SIDE OF TI� HOUSE WOULD BE EXTENDED TO ADD A BATHROOM; THE ADDITION WOULD HAVE A 5'-0" SIDE SETBACK FOR 11'-0" ALONG THE SIDE PROPERTY LINE WHERE 7'-0" IS REQUIRED WITHOUT A MINOR MODIFICATION. Your property is located within 100 feet of this property. A minor modification has been requested to allow this addition based on Municipal Code Section 25.55. Any noticed property owner may call this item up for review. If you would like to request that this project be reviewed, which includes a public hearing, you should submit a written request to the City Planner within seven days of the date of this letter. Unless review of the application is requested, the minor modification shall be approved based upon the following findings: 1. that the original house was built with a 5'-0" side setback which does not meet current code requirements; 2. that the proposed addition is designed within the required building envelope and is therefore compatible with the mass and character of adjacent properties; 3. that the proposed addition complies with lot coverage, height and all other current development requirements; and 4. that the proposed extension meets a11 other zoning code requirements and will meet the requirements of the California Building and Fire Codes, 1995 Edition as amended by the City of Burlingame, and therefore will not be detrimental to public health, safety or welfare.
